New Year reflection
I must apologise for not writing anything since going live with Replenish Refills in May 2021. My regular customers will know that I have been busy juggling two other jobs, as well as getting this exciting new venture off the ground!
And what a 7 months it has been. I’ve had Covid (twice!), increased my regular markets to three a week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) and now have lots of regular Doorstep Refill customers too.
I’ve continued to expand the range of products available - poor old Katy the Van is groaning at the seams - and will continue to review the items I stock to ensure I’m meeting customer needs.
I must say a huge thank you to my friends and family who have helped get everything off the ground: my boyfriend David for his practical help with Katy and the storage facilities, my friends Karen, Becky and Nicky for helping me out on the stall, my sons Jake and Tom who continue to lend a hand on the stalls when I need it, and take in the regular deliveries for me. I’m also part of a local business group who have been invaluable for their local knowledge and continued support - thanks Business Connect Hinckley!
I started Replenish Refills in order to help people make more sustainable shopping choices - particular for food without packaging. I’m really pleased with how people have embraced this in all of the locations that I visit with Katy the Van. I also feel really privileged that I am now able to call a lot of my customers friends.
I’m excited for what 2022 will bring.
Thanks once again,
Raichel x
